Welcome to Finlandia Marathon!
Finlandia Marathon is a sports event for everyone, held in Jyväskylä on 5.–6th September 2025. The course will follow the flat and fast ‘Rantaraitti’, a lakeside route voted Finland’s most beautiful. Lutakonaukio and Jyväskylä Pavilion will serve as competition centre.
The routes are Marathon Relay (8 x 5 km), Finlandia Five (5 km), Valon Kymppi (10 km), Half Marathon (21.1 km) and Full Marathon (42.2 km).

Marathon Relay
The Marathon Relay is a communal sports experience for workplaces, associations, friend groups, and other teams. The Marathon Relay is run in 5-kilometer segments. A team consists of 4 to 8 runners, and the team determines how many segments each runner completes. Join the fun and take on the challenge – we look forward to seeing you there!

Finlandia Five
Finlandia Five is the perfect route for everyone! Whether you jog at your own pace or push for a sprint, it’s all about competing against yourself. The scenic 5 km route takes you around Lake Jyväsjärvi, offering beautiful views of nature. Join with friends or colleagues, and enjoy the atmosphere of a major sports event. Everyone is welcome to take part – we can’t wait to see you there!

Valon Kymppi
Valon Kymppi offers an unforgettable running experience with its late start on a crisp autumn evening. As the sky fades to darkness, the city lights cast a magical glow along the 10 km route. Runners will be captivated by vibrant music and breathtaking light displays throughout the course. Join us for Valon Kymppi, where the city’s lights and the autumn dusk will inspire you to run like never before!
Divisions: M19 and Male & F19 and Female

Half Marathon
A half marathon is a tough but attainable goal for anyone who stays active. With 2,000 participants at the start, you’ll get a taste of the energy and scale of a major event. The start times and shared route for both the marathon and half marathon ensure you’ll have plenty of company and pacing support throughout the race. Don’t miss the chance to be part of something memorable!

In the half marathon, the target runners will be 1.45, 2.00 and 2.15 for the finals.
Start on Saturday, 6th September at 2.15 PM.

European Masters Athletics Marathon Championship

If you have a Runner Card or S Loyalty Card, you are entitled to a 4€ discount if you register by 30th of August. Please note that you are only entitled to one discount.
Student discount EUR 10 off the current fee up to 30th of August.
Completion Centre
Lutakonaukio and Jyväskylä Pavilion (Uno Savolankatu 8, 40100 Jyväskylä) will serve as competition centre (bib, information and registration).
Opening hours:
13th of September from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
14th of September from 9.00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Water points
There will be 12 water points during the marathon and six in half marathon. Organizers offer water, sports drink (Dexal light Orange), banana and pickled cucumber in the water points.
Results
The timing chip is in the bib, so please don’t fold the bib. Official results will be online here »
